BUNBURY, March 5.—Harry Thomas (48), soldier, was charged in the Bunbury Police Court today before Mr K. J. Dougall. SM, with having assaulted his wife, Desmah May Thomas, Occasioning grievous bodily harm. He appeared in the dock in the army's uniform and was remanded for eight days, the police stating that the woman was in a serious condition.
