Weekes By Own Hand As anticipated, the Coronial inquest yesterday into the death of Charles Joseph Weekes, which occurred last Saturday afternoon resulted in a finding that deceased died from the effects of poisoning from cyanide of potassium, self-administered. Doctor Broadbent and Constable Death gave evidence of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body and a cup containing cyanide. Miss Lilian Weekes, daughter of deceased, said her father was a widower aged 63 years. She discovered him lying dead on a couch in a shed at the rear of the house and called assistance.
